I think this essay give me a lot of inspiration . He not only play the superhero on the screen but play the character in his life . he is brave enough to confront the truth which is he can't walk anymore .In fact,i have the friend meet the same situation .He got the paralyze after a car accident . it is very depressed for me . if that time i read this essay i can give him a lot favor than that time . maybe , he will be better than now . in addition to this , i really admire his courage . because , if i meet this problem . i will commit suicide . therefore , i think he is the best superman until now . no matter this character will be played in many actor . but they just play the hero on the screen . not play the vital role in the life to influence the other people .

why the superman were popular in American . I think the major reason is environment . At that time , United State meet the great depression and the World War 2 . In this moment , each person feel very depress . they want to find something to release their emotion . fortunately , the superman can match their feeling . in addition to this , the superman represent the whole American life style . He represent the whole American thinking  and needs , hope . During the War World 2 , he play the vital role in American . his behavior symbolize the thought of American citizen to push the government to take the war . though, it is not the major reason . however , the end of the war . no one will care about this issue . therefore , the superman should change his role to reflect  the modern issue . as you see in essay , he become the man to defend the authorities which want to destory the democracy and American belief  during the cold war . however, some criticize around the superman . he had to became his role again to enforce the ministry's law and protect the American benefit . Overall , superman will change to fi the trend of that  moment . I think this is why people the first image of Unite State . the superman will be the representative of U.S.A .

In my comment, I think the superman represent the american life style , spirit , attitude . In the 

fiction , we can see the corpus of story is to describe about superman is the immigrant . It is the 

same situation as United State .  the U.S.A is called multiple  pot in the world . in addition to this , 

in the seventh paragraph of essay say ''we are all different .we are come from different places and 

we have different abilities. However,we have the same belief ''  I think the author want to imply 

all of the american has the same belief as superman to protect or espouse U.S.A . Nevertheless, I 

think the main reason of the author to create the superhero (such as the Spider man , the 

Superman .........) also represent American's power . The writer want to tell reader that the 

American mythology is indefensible . In spite of stigma surrounding them , they will just like ancient Greece to become immortal .
