Our memory~~~~Our place~~~~New York

    First time when i been here. I was just exciting about everything. New York is everyone's dream. It just like kid go to Disney Magic Kingdom. New York have power make people believe that my dream come truth.
 
     The most special memory for me is you. We start here and end here. This trip is proper time for me to recall all of event which happen in the past. Time Square is our first date. We made lots of fragrant memory. We also made wish that we will come back here again in the future. What he fantastic promise we had before.
 
    This time i also come back that place where we made our promise. Nevertheless, i can't find my faith. I stand there try to chase your trace. Ha~~ I just feel void in my heart. I don't blame on your decision. The Statue of Liberty reminded me that everyone have right to pursuit their freedom. I should give your choice with respect.
 
     I met a very special resident who live in New York. He come from South Korea. We talk a lot when we wait for Grey Hound bus. He told me that New York city always claim they are the most freedom place, but in their mind they keep discrimination. It made me thought of the Statue of Liberty. What is freedom? In the past, the teacher always taught us that freedom equal to freewill unless they offend your will. We don't have right to judge those person who keep racism in their perspective. It is freedom give them the right to keep their thought. What the hack for the world? We always follow by discipline.It a depth question for us to meditate.
   
    New York is a place where can attract me to there around 3~4 times. I always want to visit there again and again. Because of you and spectacular Brooklyn bridge. Here is a place where show you poor and rich. In transfer terminal or Brooklyn you can see lots of homeless, they beg visitor to give them some buckles. In Manhattan you can see long and gaudy limo drive on the road. It is real New York.
 
     The last sight of view is you when i left this amazing city. You still account for 100 percent in my mind. I knew this trip may be the last time i visit here. In my eyes full of sorrow. Moreover, I decide to bury our memory in this city where always keep contradiction. It is time to walk out. It is time to connect the other world. I always keep gratitude for you. I hope in the future if I have chance to visit here i can keep mature mind to see our place.
 
 

Niagara Falls trip

    I believe this trip will be my fragrant memory in my life. Moreover, it also will be my motivation when I met some difficulty. Because of this trip can remind me that I ever had amazing life in United State. Nothing can defeat me. In the past, I really struggled for coming United States. After this trip, I realize that it is worth for me to come to United State and study here. I really appreciate I have chance come here and visit Niagara Falls. It is my last trip with school, so it make me feel more upset. Istill remember the first trip when we went to New York. During that moment, everything is fresh for me including people. Nevertheless, I got lots of friends very soon. Here is too many friends come from different countries. This trip tell me it is time say good bye. Therefore, we really cherish this time of Niagara Falls trip. All of us know, it will be our precious memory and may be will be our last trip in our life. Thanks for all of my friends and Discovery Club give me lots of beautiful memory.

to be the slave of Facebook or not ? it is very difficult question for modern people. in the past, my mom never used laptop because she think she don't need it. however, when i go abroad. she force to learn how to use computer and Facebook. when i start my American life. i found that she always be on-line. it is crazy but i can't judge her behavior. everyday we turn on the computer or smartphone. the first thing we will do is check our Facebook. we got the disease call Facebook slave. someone will judge about Facebook will reveal our privacy. they violate our privacy. i don't think so. we have to cultivate our ability about which we want to show on the Facebook or which we don't want. it is big issue for us to explore it.

Facebook is a kind of social network. it is the vital component in our life. apart from this, we need communicate the others by using Facebook. we always use Facebook to check friends' mood or what happen on them. to be honest, social network can increase the relationship between you and your friends. Especially for students who study abroad. I always check my mom's Facebook to know what happen on my family. Facebook always reveal a lot information for user. just you press invitation button. you will get information which you wanted. i love use social network. i love Facebook. in addition, Facebook will provide the function of photo. we can see a lot photo from our friends. this world need talk. Facebook offer this stage for us.

actually, i really don't understand why boy just like gun and truck. perhaps, the society told us. these stuff is belong to man. woman play this kind of toy is inappropriate. we always follow the rule which was made by ancestor. we don't judge these rule. even we have question on the rule. because everybody was cultivated by this thought since we born to this world. if you broke this rule. it means you will receive some uncomfortable judgement. when i was kid, my mother always bough bb gun for me. she think i must love this kind of toy without doubt. it is very interesting question for us. if your son like playing barbies . what will you think about your son. Gay? our parents always educate us. ths behavior is inappropriate for your gender to do. is this truth? we know this kind of request is ridiculous. however, we have to care about the other people's opinion for you. normally, we will choose the behavior which can fullfill society's expectation. it is not our mind. in the future, i will hope i can give the space for my kid to think about what they wanted.

In essay, we can see daughter represent the image of mom. Therefore, mom always focus on child's appearance. They always pursuit the perfect on their child. Just like the writer have said. If you dress a holy terrible cloth. So many people will judge about your mom. No one want to be discussed in the public. Actually, my mom have the same behavior. i have read the similar book before in Taiwan. In this book, the author describe about when he was child. His family decided to immigrate to USA. I think no matter you are Taiwanese or Chinese will meet the same problem as the writer. Their family always ask  their child learn their mother language. In my opinion, Chinese is really difficult language. Even English is more east than Chinese. Even i am Taiwanese, i always fail in my Chinese class. It is very hard working for kids. in addition, they always meet a question about which is their race? Chines or  American? In their conscious, they will feel i grow up America. Therefore, i belong to them. However, the native will recognize them. On the other hand, their ancestor is from China. They can't disassociate this blood. However, they don't have any idea about their home country. Is they belong to them? I realize the writer prefer to celebrate Cingo de Mayo than Chinese New Year. To identify which they belong is not vital. Just have self-conscious and recognize theiselves is more important.

I really interesting in this essay. In this essay, the author tell us about her background. As you known United State just like the multiple pot. On this land you can find a lot different cultures which was brought by various immigrants. Moreover, they developing their English on their own way. I think language is depends on people who use this. This is not about right or wrong. Just the major human can understand or not. Perhaps, her mother's broken English can  be comprehended by Chinese who also immigrate to USA. Just different semantic system will affect speaker to speak what they wanted. For example, a lot people speak English in Hong Kong. However, their grammar and semantic was used by Chinese language system. Just the vocabulary use English. In fact, i believe a lot American can't understand them. It is very funny topic for us. Language always evolve in different cultures. Even they use the same language. For instance, mainland China and Taiwan have the similar culture and language but sometimes I can't understand some word which created by China. Therefore, i think this is the good issue for us to discuss about this. No one is wrong. Just we have to follow the common rule on this language. Basically. we stay in the global word. Communication is very important for us.

After reading this article, i am really surprised at it already have the genetic modified plant in the ancient time. I think the first wave of globalization is benefit for human beings. By spreading the culture, language, modified corp can make different area combine together and make a new style of culture and way of life. In addition, we can see by spreading the genetic food can make the other area have affluent food. However, nowadays we live in a world which information, culture..... can connect very easily. especially, Japan, Euroupe, and America. It is not bad for all of us but their way of life is too waste. Apart from that, the food distribution is disparity. If those of country's way of life continue to affect the third world. It will make earth over sustainable ability. I don't say poor country should always be poor. However, I think those of country should play the vital role around the world, They should promote waste is a bad thing for earth. We should get which we can eat and then the other area will be affected by this concept. Because, we living in the age of explosive information. Everything will widespread to another corner sooner than before.

In my perspective, i think no matter the books transform into the other forms. It still call book. Furthermore, i really support about people read article or novel through the net. As we know, internet become the most part in our life. Therefore, you can see tremendous knowledge upload through the net every second. By this advantage, we can use the net to find which books we like sooner than before. It save our a lot time to go to library and search which books we wanted. In addition, you can see a lot books will have comments on them. By checking their comments you will find is this books really interesting or not. The most important is after reading we can discuss our reflection immediately through the net. By exchange each other opinion we can find different meanings in this book. Just like now, we always read article and post our opinions on the blogger. It can make us know the other classmate's perspectives and discuss in the class. I really appreciate the technology bring so many profit for affluent aficinado.

We don't control them; they control us.I think this is the basically idea which the writer want to tell us. Nowadays, we live in the century which full of advanced technology. It make our life more convenient. In addition, a lot people lose their mind. Most of them think if they don't keep in touch with technology or net. Their life will lose colorful. Is this a good develop for human being? We can see a lot people use mobile phone or laptop on the street. They don't care about what happen which surround them. They just care about their net or wifi is stable or not. I have a friend who really keen on use smart phone. He always check his phone every single minute. When we shopping, you can see he sit on the corner and use his phone to text. Is this normal for him? I don't think so. After that, we think he is too boring because he always want to talk with his phone instead of us. Therefore, we don't play with him anymore because we think he just need his phone. I believe a lot people have the same problem as my friend. They lose their social ability. Their expression is too terrible. I don't criticize the technology is bad or good. Everything have their benefit. Just depends on the people who use them. This is very difficult issue to solve. Just we have to get balance point. How to use them can get the most great benefit in our life. Just remember, this device is we create them. Therefore, we have to cultivate the ability to control them, not they control us. If they control us just like you raise the kid who abandon you after he grow up. It is the tragedy. right?

Nowadays, a lot youth generation was called '' Generation Text. What is the definition for this term? Is it bad for teenager when they writing? In opinion, i think this is not bad for us. Because, we live in the internet world. we have to realize the net culture. This just like you have to respect the other country's culture. Everything have their culture. You can't judge the other culture which you don't understand. Just try to realize why they want to do this. The other thing i want to mention is why we found the internet? Definitely, i will hear a lot people will say because of it make my life more easier. Therefore, the same reason as the Internet instant messaging. Human always want to find the easy way to eliminate trouble. In addition, just like the essay tell us this is the part of language evolution and also i hear Mr.Helper tell us one time he found a student use a very weird vocabulary which he never saw. However, this exist indeed. Just we don't used to use this. Maybe in the ancient time, this world is popular. Therefore we should not put the stereotype on the shorthand messaging. Due to the evolution, we have to adapt. Apart from that, in the future our generation will control the most resources around the world.( just because the rotation of generation) Furthermore, we should show our cultural style for next generation and then may be their thinking will modify our culture and develop different kind of language. Perhaps, we will feel what is that and look them for lingua franca. But the most important is we have to keep our respect for them. Nevertheless, we have to cultivate the ability which can make us to seperate formal or informal English when we writing. Just the essay want to tell us the lingua franca can help us make writing more easier but in some formal or academic research we have to take our profession to prove everyone can understand what we write.









 By the way i gonna to tell you a very interesting issue which happen in Taiwan. Before, we enter the university, we have to take the national test. In one year, the Chinese test, the question is interpret the meaning of lingua franca. At that year, a lot scholar professor tell reporter. This is the most difficult test which he saw in his life.
